THIS IS DISGUSTING.. AND NO ONE GIVES A DAMN

U.S. Military’s Suicide Rate Surpassed Combat Deaths In 2012

The number of suicide deaths in the U.S. military surged to a record 349 last year — more than the 295 Americans who died fighting in Afghanistan in 2012. The numbers were first reported by the AP; NPR has confirmed them.
The new figures show that the number of military suicides rose from 2011, when 301 such deaths were reported. And people who work with veterans say the numbers could grow worse, as returning soldiers adjust to civilian life. The AP says the numbers are considered to be “tentative,” pending review.
On All Things Considered, NPR’s Pentagon correspondent Tom Bowman tells co-host Audie Cornish that the figures represent “active duty and reserve … the largest portion were the active duty Army; 182 took their own lives in 2012.”
Tom says the military’s suicide problem is a complex one. “Most of those committing suicide are young men, 18-24,” he says, who are worried that asking for help will undermine their career.
While some of the deaths can be linked to the stresses of being deployed in a war zone, a third or more of those who killed themselves were never deployed, Tom says. They seem to have been made desperate by financial or personal problems.
The military has sought to improve mental health issues and especially to boost suicide prevention and awareness, particularly after it saw a spike in suicides in 2009. The Military Crisis Line (1-800-273-8255) is one such effort.
“They now have resiliency training,” Tom says, “which is basically teaching people how to deal with stress, in boot camp.”
But while work has also been done to remove the stigma of asking for help, Tom says it can still be difficult for military personnel to find counseling.
Kim Ruocco, who directs a suicide prevention program for Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, or TAPS, tells the AP that when they leave war zones, troops enter “the danger zone, when they’re transitioning back to their families, back to their communities and really finding a sense of purpose for themselves.”
As Tom notes, Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., has introduced legislation that seeks to lower the number of military suicides. Its provisions include peer counseling, which would pair returning service personnel with veterans who have made the transition to civilian life. The bill was signed into law on Jan. 3.
“This is an epidemic that cannot be ignored,” Murray said Monday, according to the AP. “As our newest generation of service members and veterans face unprecedented challenges, today’s news shows we must be doing more to ensure they are not slipping through the cracks.”
The military says that its suicide rate remains lower than that of America’s civilian population. The AP cites the Pentagon as saying “the civilian suicide rate for males aged 17-60 was 25 per 100,000 in 2010, the latest year for which such statistics are available. That compares with the military’s rate in 2012 of 17.5 per 100,000.”

ROFL: KTLA’s Anchors React to Magnitude-4.4 Quake, Which Hit During Broadcast [VIDEOS]

A magnitude-4.4 earthquake that was centered six miles north of Beverly Hills struck around 6:25 a.m. Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
It was felt quite strongly in the KTLA studios in Hollywood as well — with aftershocks felt all overthe Internet. No major damages or injuries were reported, but the shaking was felt as far as Orange, Riverside and Santa Barbara counties.
When the temblor struck during the KTLA 5 Morning News, anchors Chris Schauble and Megan Henderson were on camera. They ducked for cover underneath the anchor desk during Monday’s broadcast.
Their reactions — especially Schauble’s facial expressions — were soon generating almost as much talk on social media as the quake itself.
Schauble was a good sport about the Twitter explosion, even changing his profile picture to show his own earthquake-shocked countenance.
The often-quoted Lucy Jones, a seismologist with the U.S. Geological Survey and researcher at Caltech, had praise for Schauble and Henderson.
“I was very proud to see the KTLA anchors going under their desk during the earthquake; that was absolutely the right thing to do,” Jones said.
“People who are laughing at them for doing it — you don’t know at the beginning how big an earthquake’s going to be,” she said. “You might feel a little silly doing it for the small ones, but when the big one happens, it means you stay alive after the lights come crashing down.”
Jones called it a “great example” that everyone should follow in the event of an earthquake.
The U.S. Geological Survey tweeted “Exactly what you should do!”
The federal agency later corrected its mention of Megan “Anderson” to “Henderson,” tweeting “We got so excited we got a little crazy on the keys.”

Father Sentenced To Jail After Overpaying Child Support & Visiting Too Often [VIDEO]

HOUSTON, TX - A father who has been doing the right thing has had a warrant issued for his arrest after he overpaid child support and visited his 11-year-old son too often.
When the amount of child support was modified, Clifford Hall claims that he wasn’t notified, but he quickly acted to pay $3,000 that he owed. The attorney representing the child’s mother demanded attorney fees however, and the Judge agreed to it.
The Judge sentenced Hall to 6 months in jail after she modified the terms whereby he could visit the child and Hall fell out of schedule. Again he said he wasn’t notified.

HUGE FISH TANK BURSTS At Downtown Disney Restaurant [VIDEO]

A giant fish tank at the T-Rex Cafe in Orlando’s Downtown Disney area cracked open Monday afternoon, sending diners scrambling from their seats and workers rushing to save the fish.
“The staff — they were doing the best job that they could,” witness Kate Wallace told the Orlando Sentinel. “It was craziness. Just kind of people freaking out. It’s not something that you see very often. How do you respond to that?”
Wallace also posted a photo on Twitter:“Was just at T-Rex in Downtown Disney just now and the glass to a giant fish tank just cracked and water started pouring out,” another witness, Michael Pappas, posted on Facebook. “Then about four waiters climbed in and started scooping up the fish. It was chaos. Everyone in our section had to leave.”
At least one photo posted online shows the workers climbing into the tank.
The restaurant remained open despite the incident. A Disney spokeswoman said the leak was small, some fish were removed and some tables had to be relocated, ClickOrlando.com reports. There were no reports of injuries and it’s believed all the fish were saved.
T-Rex is a themed restaurant run by Landry’s. It features animatronic dinosaurs and dishes such as the “Gigantosaurus Burger” and “Tyrannosaurus T-Bone” as well as a dessert called the “Chocolate Extinction.”

New Evidence of Vatican’s guilt prompts Italian politicians to confront Pope Francis as next Common Law court case is announced  – The Papacy retaliates with global “black ops” attacks against ITCCS
BRUSSELS - The criminal prosecution of yet another Pope came closer to reality this month as Italian politicians agreed to work with the ITCCS in a common law court action against the papacy for its haboring of a wanted fugitive from justice: deposed Pope Benedict, Joseph Ratzinger.
The agreement came after a new eyewitness confirmed the involvement of Ratzinger in a ritual child sacrifice in Holland in August of 1987.

“I saw Joseph Ratzinger murder a little girl at a French chateau in the fall of 1987″ stated the witness, who was a regular participant in the cult ritual torture and killing of children.

“It was ugly and horrible, and it didn’t happen just once. Ratzinger often took part. He and (Dutch Catholic Cardinal) Alfrink and (Bilderberger founder) Prince Bernhard were some of the more prominent men who took part.”
This new witness confirms the account of Toos Nijenhuis, a Dutch woman who went public on May 8 with her eyewitness account of similar crimes involving Ratzinger, Alfrink and Bernhard.

Soon after his historic resignation from office last February 11, Joseph Ratzinger was convicted of Crimes against Humanity on February 25, 2013 by the Brussels-based International Common Law Court of Justice, and a global citizens arrest warrant was issued against him. Since then, he has evaded arrest within Vatican City under a decree of the present Pope Francis.
The surfacing of this new evidence of Vatican complicity in child murder has prompted a group of Italian politicians to agree to work with the ITCCS in confronting the papacy with a common lawcourt case against the present Pope Francis, Jorge Bergoglio, for his sheltering of Ratzinger and his own complicity in war crimes. The politicians had been in closed negotiations with ITCCSrepresentatives since September 22.
“We are looking at revising if not abolishing our country’s Lateran Treaty with the Vatican, whose actions in harboring child rapists certainly meet the definition of a Transnational Criminal Organization under international law” stated a spokesman for one of the politicians.
In response, during the same week of October 7 when these new allegations surfaced, the Vatican commenced a series of attacks against ITCCS groups in Europe involved in documenting the church’s involvement in cult ritual murder.
Paid operatives sabotaged ITCCS work in Holland and Ireland during that week, and on October 14, the main ITCCS website was destroyed by the same saboteurs.
Political sources in Rome have revealed that these attacks were paid for and coordinated through the Office of the Vatican espionage agency known as the “Holy Alliance” or The Entity, and its affiliated “dirty ops” bureau, the Sodalitium Pianum, established in Rome in 1913. They also involved the agents of the Papal Nuncio to Holland, Archbishop Andre Dupuy, who made direct contact with two of the saboteurs, “Mel and Richard Ve”, and with the Archbishop of Dublin, Diarmuid Martin, who likewise paid bribes to disrupt ITCCS work in Ireland.
“Obviously the Vatican is panicking. This is a good sign” commented ITCCS Field Secretary Kevin Annett today from New York City.
“The political tide has shifted against the church, and it’s no longer possible for child killers in robes to hide behind the Lateran Treaty. And in its death throes, the church hierarchy is using its usual methods of lies and misinformation to shift the focus off its own criminal guilt.”
In response to this breakthrough and to the renewed attacks on its work, the ITCCS Central Directorate in Brussels has today made the following announcement to the world media and to its affiliates in twenty six countries:
1. During November,  convened a global press conference in Rome with Italian politicians to announce a new phase of our campaign to disestablish the secular power of the Vatican. This campaign will include the launching of a new common law court action against the present Pope Francis and his agents for complicity in Crimes against Humanity and cult ritual murder.
2. To safeguard these efforts, our main website at www.itccs.org has been restored and protected with new security features. In addition, henceforth, all ITCCS sections will operate under an official Charter which all members must sign and swear to. A copy of this Charter will be posted at itccs.org and circulated to all our sections.
3. For information purposes, our former television site at www.itccs.tv has been compromised and seized by the paid operatives known by the aliases “Mel and Richard Ve”, who are acting in deliberate opposition to the ITCCS to blacken our work and the good name of Kevin Annett, our Field Secretary. Neither “Mel and Richard Ve” nor the itccs.tv site are affiliated with nor in any way represent the ITCCS.
4. Jorge Bergoglio (alias Pope Francis) and other officials of the Vatican are now under criminal investigation for heinous offences involving the trafficking, torture and killing of children. We advise all persons to refrain from assisting Bergoglio and his agents under pain of summaryconviction for participating in a proven criminal conspiracy emanating from the Curia and the Office of the Roman Pontiff.
Please stay alert for further announcements and actions.
